About the festival

The Berlin Kiez Film Festival is an established event that, for years now, brings independent German and international cinema to various exhibition spaces and galleries across Berlin.

After previous editions hosted in several renowned galleries in the city, the festival has now formed an artistic partnership with the open space KA32, where cinematic art merges with the works of emerging artists and professionals in the contemporary scene.

The selection offers a range of cinematic works across diverse categories, promoting new ideas distinguished by originality and quality. Each edition awards selected projects with screenings, official recognitions, and opportunities for public interaction.
